Ludicrous Producers

Jon and partner Chad Meserve have been writing and creating projects together since 1989 when they launched Ludicrous Productions in northern California. Jon has co-written 4 features including most recently, Rutland, USA. As a student of improv, Jon wrote the song A Vagina for Christmas while at Improv Olympic in Chicago. Jon has explored all aspects of entertainment including writing, directing, producing, and acting.

Chad Meserve is an accomplished editor and animator with over 10 years of traditional and nonlinear editing experience. His short, Rex & Red, won accolades from the broadcast industry community as well as at film festivals. Although he holds a Bachelors of Science in Structural Engineering, his true passion is for storytelling and the visual arts.

Kevin Painchaud, born and raised in the San Francisco
Bay area, graduated with a film degree from SFSU.
Joining Ludicrous Productions in 1992, he has
directed, produced, shot and edited many TV shows,
films, documentaries and music videos. He is an Emmy
nominated Producer and an award winning editor and
animator.

After moving to Hollywood from her hometown in Massachusetts, Andrea realized that she'd rather act like a struggling actress than be one. Last year she produced a road trip documentary about women. Her relationship with Ludicrous Productions began as an artist on their animated series "Bit Parts." She then approached them about collaborating on a project and became the first female producer to work with these ludicrous guys. Andrea looks forward to a future as an accomplished writer, producer, and actress.

Steve was born and raised in West Philly. He moved
out to sunny California in '95 to pursue his dream to
make films. He has been involved in the film industry
for over 6 years now making everything from cool independent films to wedding
videos.
